    • Welcome to my BLOG!

My name is Eryn and I am a Windsor based wedding photographer, who absolutely adores weddings, meeting new people, and of course being creative :) What better job could I ask for than being able to combine all 3 of those elements.

Images that fresh, unique, stylish with modern-vintage elements are my forte. Photographing couples in unconventional locations is a real passion of mine. Combining this style with the natural alluring qualities of couples makes for some truly beautiful images.

This blog will allow me to showcase my most recent work, for your viewing pleasure.
Feel free to leave comments, and of course if you're looking for a wedding photographer in the Windsor area, throughout Southwestern Ontario, or for your destination wedding, please contact me!

      Thanks for stopping by!

Amanda + Ron | Downtown Detroit Engagement

Amanda + Ron are a whole lot of fun to be around!  They are always smiling, laughing, joking…..it’s nothing but happy vibes when I’m around these two.  They are two genuine people who love to share a laugh and good time with anyone.

A little while back Jenn and I headed over to Detroit to meet up with these two for their Engagement Session.  Amanda + Ron love Detroit, the architecture, the monuments, the sportsteams, the history!….needles to say it was the perfect setting for their photographs.  We started things off at the Hockeytown Cafe (these two love a lot of Detroit sports teams) so it was a pretty fitting place to hang out.  Comerica Park was just letting out from a Tigers game, and the streets were filled to the brim with people.  We hung out for a bit, hoping to wait out the crowds, chatting about our shameful admissions to regularly watching the Jersey Shore….LOL.

After a little break in the crowds we hit Woodward Ave. and snapped a few photos, in between the large crowds that poured across the streets at every ‘walk’ signal.  There were a whole lot of characters out that day, including 1 guy who insisted that he drum in our music video…..yeaaa…..surrrre…..LOL.

Did I mention that Amanda has a very charming way about her?;)First she somehow scored us free parking at Comerica Park, and then just after the crowds had let out of Comerica, she somehow won over a security guard who said we could have 5 minutes inside the park!  It was pretty serious business, and we hurried to get what we could before getting the official boot.

It was a fun filled day of adventure to say the least, and a total blast!  If this was just a taste of the fun we’re going to have with these two, then their wedding day will surely not disappoint:)

Here are a few favourites from that afternoon!

This mystery guy walked right into our shoot with a pretty sweet sign…..Amanda + Ron had no idea…hahaha.

    Our 5 minutes inside Comerica…

    LOVE this one!

Don’t you love Amanda’s custom Cons!

    Another love.

Rosanna + Drew | Sushi Date Engagement

A little while back I had the pleasure of hanging out one night with Rosanna & Drew for a sushi date, which was also their Engagement Session.  They loooove sushi, Drew especially.  He’s pretty adventurous when it comes to sushi, Rosanna um not so much….LOL.  It was pretty cute watching Drew trying to get Rosanna to try a few different things.  I had the pleasure of photographing Drew’s other love too….his Mustang!  It’s a pretty sweet car!  These two are totally in love and adorable, and will be getting married in April!  If you  haven’t been to Hikari here in Windsor and you love sushi, I think you’ll have a craving for it after you see just how good it looks.  Mmmmmm…delish!

Here are a few favourites from Rosanna & Drew’s Sushi date Engagement Session!

    They are so cute together.

    LOVE this one!

Nikki + Ryan | Southwestern Ontario Wedding Photography

I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect wedding day for Nikki & Ryan!  The sun was shining, everyone was smiling and having fun, it was such a HAPPY day!  You could tell that everyone couldn’t wait to see these two finally make it official.  We started the day off with Nikki and her Bridesmaids, and Nikki looked stunning!  Every single detail that she chose was so gorgeous, and she was literally just beaming with excitement.  Being greeted with her huge smile was a great way to start the day.  We couldn’t wait for Ryan to see her, his heart was definitely going to skip a beat.

Nikki & Ryan were married in an intimate ceremony in Kingsville, and were joined by their closest family and friends.  As we stepped out of the Church the sun was beaming down on these two, I  just knew it was going to be one of those amazing days….and it was!  We headed to Lakeside Park for their Creative Session, the light was SO gorgeous I was giddy with excitement….literally…LOL.  Nikki & Ryan are so in love, I would catch little glimpses of the way they look at each other with such adoration, it was adorable.  Nikki reminded me of a gorgeous mermaid with her curly blond locks, the beautiful flower in her hair, and her gorgeous tropical bouquet….she looked amazing!  It was like an island-beach wedding in Kingsville!  Top it all off with a really fun wedding party, who had us cracking up the whole time, and you have the makings for an awesome time!

I could have photographed Nikki & Ryan all day, and I really loved how much they were in to their photos….I get excited when my couples are excited, and it’s this whole circle of excitement thing..LOL.  After an awesome Creative shoot we headed to the Portuguese Club in Leamington for their Reception.  The hall looked stunning, and the backdrop for their wedding cake was hands down the best I’ve ever seen.  The night was full of laughs, and some really great stories and speeches.  I loved listening to them all, and hearing some funny stories about the two of them.

Nikki & Ryan I adore you both, and thank you for being so laid back and awesome!  It was such a fun day with you, thanks for having us!

Steve Shilson from Straylight Films did the videography for Nikki & Ryan’s wedding and he is an awesome videographer to work with, if you  haven’t checked out his work you definitely should.  Check him out here.

Here are a few favourites from their gorgeous wedding day:
