Jenna + Greg

Ahhhhhh…Jenna + Greg.  These two are a total delight!  Jenna + Greg are an awesome couple, not only do they make a stunning couple, but they compliment each other so incredibly well.  These two both know how to have a good time, and are always laughing and joking around together.  It was a breeze photographing them together, they were really themselves, and braved some unbearably cold winter temperatures all in the name of some great photographs, to tell their little lovestory :)

Jenna + Greg first met at the Kildare House in Olde Walkerville, and then even had their very first date there.  It couldn’t have been more fitting that we return to this local hangout for their Engagement photographs. This is one of my favourite hangout spots in Olde Walkerville, this old house turned pub is full of so much character, it was the perfect backdrop :)

After warming their bellies at the Kildare House, we prepared to brave the frigid temps at Charles Clark Square, for some fun ice skating photos.  It was a blast!  Even though we were totally freezing, these two kept their spirits up, cozied up warm with another, and were their adorable, playful selves on the ice.

Jenna is gorgeous, this girl has a closet of clothes that I totally envy!  One of the coolest things I found out about her….while she might be the girliest of girls and loves shopping, she can rock a pair of guy’s ice skates like nobody’s business, because she’s also a hockey player, just like her beau Greg.

I can’t remember a day where I’ve had more fun out in the cold!  I definitely can’t wait to do it again with them this upcoming November for their wedding!

Here are a few of many favourites from their Winter Engagement Session:

LOVE this one!

Another fave.

LOOVVVE this one.

Funny story, while we were shooting this, the patrons drinking at the bar had no idea I was upstairs with my camera capturing this image.  They totally just thought Jenna + Greg were cuddling up on the stairs…just because…..so funny.

Isn’t she a stunner?

LOVE this one!

One stunning couple!

So cute.

I {heart} them :)

Chantelle + Iain

Chantelle + Iain are such an awesome couple!  They are totally that rocker-chic kind of couple, who are all about being themselves, and true to their rocker roots.  It was music that actually brought these two together when they first met.  Way back when Iain was in a band, and they were looking for a bass player.  They held some auditions, and who showed up was this gorgeous gal named Chantelle, a bass player, and well….the rest is history.  Chantelle got the gig, and Iain got the girl :)

Be sure to check out their awesome record store Engagement Session here.

Their wedding day was one that I was SO incredibly excited for, because I knew that these two were all about making their wedding day details really reflect their own personal style.  I was not disappointed.  Every little detail of their wedding day reflected their love of rock music + comic books, and it was all put together in such a rocker-chic meets romance + gothic style.  From custom Converse hightops for the boys, to the guitar boutonnieres, black fur shawls, and even skull + cross bone cookies at their reception….they didn’t miss a beat.

We started the day off with Iain, who was so excited to be marrying Chantelle.  Iain + Chantelle have their own beautiful little family, now complete with an adorable baby boy named Mason.  Even Mason was decked out in skull sneakers + a little tux to boot.  Awesome ending to the Groom Preparations…..Iain rockin’ out on the drums….in a tux.

We then headed over to see the gorgeous Chantelle who looked like an old Hollywood movie star.  Her fiery red hair, paired with a gorgeous red lip was so classic, yet still sticking with her edgy rocker style.  This girl rocked out some pretty awesome studded platform heels under her gorgeous dress.

Chantelle + Iain made things official and were married in front of their closest family + friends, even little Mason made a trip down the aisle.

We braved the frigid December temperatures with these two, and their awesome Bridal Party for their Creative Session, freezing our butts off was totally worth it!  These two rocked their photos!

Chantelle + Iain you guys are so awesome + am so thrilled I was able to work with such a unique couple, who are all about staying true to themselves, with such awesome style!

Here are a few favourites from their awesome wedding day…..this wedding was a definitely a total favourite!  What a way to end my 2012 wedding season!

Thank you to you + your team for being amazing + so helpful on our wedding day.

Patricia + Nick

Patricia & Nick are truly a one of a kind couple.  They are both huge hopeless romantics, and have a great appreciation for the Arts, from all eras.  Their little lovestory is so unique + incredibly special.  Their first date was deemed a ‘red night’.  It was red themed night where they dressed in red, drank red wine, and indulged in red food.  Nick is a talented chef, and created a delectable menu for their romantic & enchanting first date.  They immediately connected, and it soon blossomed into a whirlwind romance.  So much so that now 2 years to the date of their very first meeting, will now be the day that they make one another their forever loves :)

When I first met these two, I felt an instant connection with them.  Their love of the Arts, and appreciation for the vintage-classic eras, and anything unique + quirky made me immediately adore them.  I loved how excited they were about their photographs, so much that we were already planning their Engagement Session during our very first meeting.

One year to the date after their very first meeting was the day of their Engagement Session.  Naturally we incorporated a little bit of their ‘red theme’, and of course some fabulous vintage-classic outfits tying in their love of all things of that same style.  It was a freezing November afternoon, but this two were troopers + braved the cold temps all in the name of love!

I cannot wait to photograph their soon-to-be amazing + literally theatrical nuptials later this year, and to spend more time with this lovely duo!

Patricia’s make-up is by the very talented Lana Baker, and her 1940′s inspired do is by Shears Hair Salon in Olde Walkerville!

Here are a few favourites from their Engagement Session:

I swear Patricia is from another era, she looks like an old Hollywood moviestar!

LOVE.
