This post has been a loooong time coming! I first met Kelly about a year and a half ago, when she excitedly told me she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. This girl loves the camera, and the camera also loves her. She and her now husband Marcel were married this past January on a day with one of the biggest snow storms I’ve experienced here in Windsor. I knew from our first photo shoot, their chilly Engagement session back in November, that Kelly’s awesome modeling abilities in front of the camera, and my skills behind the camera were definitely going to mesh well. When she approached me after the wedding to do a Trash the Dress session (my first to be exact) I was so excited! We shot these in late August, during wedding season, so it’s taken a bit longer than usual to finish working on them. Kelly thank you for being so awesome, this was one of the most fun, glamorous, fashionista days ever, and I loved every minute of it (even when it meant cutting my bare feet from standing on the rocks at the bottom of Lake Erie). A special thanks to Kelly’s mom Sheila who spent the day with us too! I can’t wait until we do our Winter Session. Yes that’s right, Kelly is going to don her wedding gown again for a Winter Trash the Dress session. In the meantime here are some favourites from that awesome day!
