Erin + Mike | Ambassador Golf Club Wedding

One of my favourite things about my clients is just how adventurous they can be at times.  Erin & Mike are definitely adventurous, and always up for anything!!  For their Engagement session I headed up to London where we journeyed into some forested areas around the Thames River.  Erin had a specific location in mind, which involved carefully maneuvering yourself across a fallen down tree, which was directly above some rushing water …no big deal right…LOL.  These two adventure seekers were game for just about anything! Unfortunately they didn’t escape without injury and poor Erin ended up with a cut on her leg which by some unfortunate twist of fate turned into a terrible infection.  Luckily she was all healed and feeling back to her old self just in time for her wedding.  It is definitely a session she will never forget!  You can check out their Engagement Session here.

On July 10th, Erin & Mike were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the backyard of Erin’s parents’ gorgeous home.  It was the perfect setting!  There were so many stylish touches to their entire day I was in love!  Their Bridal Party wore sunglasses during the ceremony procession, and the girls passed their glasses off to the guys to hold onto during the ceremony, it was a very cute touch.  Erin even worked in a few quotes from the Sex and The City movie into her ceremony,I was hooked!  The girls wore adorable black cocktail dresses complete with pockets, and the guys wore all black with white ties and suspenders, and some awesome converse high-tops to boot!  The style elements that Erin & Mike included in their wedding day really added so much character to their images, and really reflected their fun and light-hearted personalities.

The adventures continued on their wedding day!  To Erin her wedding images were everything, and it is such a great feeling to hear that from a bride.  When clients are open to getting creative and trusting me when I take them to some unconventional locations (LOL), the possibilities are endless!  We ventured all over town into downtown back alleys, and through fields of  weeds and tall grass, and these two were excited for all of it!

Their Reception was full of laughs, tears, dancing and even some classic Phil Collins (a fave of Erin & Mike’s)

These two are the perfect match!  The connection between Erin & Mike is so clearly evident, it is an absolute joy just to be around them!

Here are a few or should I say many favourites from their big day!

Erin looked gorgeous!

So pretty!

I love that little twinkle in her eye.

As an added stylish touch the Guys all wore matching aviator sunglasses, and the Girls passed their glasses off to guys during the ceremony, it was cute!

They just couldn’t wait, too cute.

Isn’t Erin’s parents’ backyard gorgeous?

Adorable.

Awesomely stylish Wedding Party.

The Guys were all pretty stoked to see their jumping shot on the back of my camera, it took a few takes but it was well worth it!

The Girls looking gorgeous.

Love this one!

And this one!

And this one….there are so many favourites.

Love these next two, Erin looks so gorgeous.

When Erin told me the night before her wedding that she wanted to lay in a field I was so excited, and I knew just the perfect spot.

I LOVE these two, up for anything and no complaints.

Definite favourites.

My hat goes off to Erin’s brother for his dancing to some Bel Biv DeVoe, I couldn’t think of a better way to end this post:)
