I knew that Annemarie & Paul were a perfect couple for an Encore Session, and when I approached them about the idea they were immediately game!  An Encore Session gives couples an opportunity to get really creative with their photographs, and even take risks, on a much more laid back day than their wedding day.  Wedding days can often be a whirlwind of excitement and chaos, rushing around from one location to the next.  Time flies by in an instant, and before you know it the night is almost over.  An Encore Session is the perfect combination of great style, fresh ideas (possibly different from your wedding day photos), interesting locations (that perhaps you can’t make time for on your wedding day), all on a much more laid back day  Interested in doing an Encore Session?  Feel free to shoot me an email.

Annemarie & I had emailed each other back and forth for a couple of months with ideas, details and props we’d picked up for their upcoming Encore Session.

At the perfect location, on an early sunny Sunday afternoon Kelly & I met up with Annemarie & Paul for a stylish & whimsical themed Encore Session, and everything came together beautifully!  Annemarie is a make-up artist and she did her own make-up for the shoot, just like on her wedding day.  She does such a beautiful job!

I knew that Sharon & Adam would be the perfect couple for this session, because they are a total blast to be around!  I can’t get enough of Sharon & Adam, and I’m so happy that we’ve continued our working relationship and friendship since their wedding at the end of last September.  Rainy weather and freezing temperatures seemed to be an ongoing theme for all of our shoots together, first their Engagement Session, then their wedding day, and finally Sharon’s trash the dress session.  You can check out her editorial styled trash the dress session here.  Every time we planned a shoot we ended up with awful weather.  Funny thing is though that it’s never stopped us….LOL.

So when we started planning for this shoot, we prayed that for once we would be blessed with sunshine, and by some great stroke of good luck we were treated to some gorgeous sunlight!  A month ago we headed to our shooting location, moving van and all and so the magic began.

Sharon & Adam have trusted my sometimes crazy ideas from the get-go and I love them for it!  I could have spent the entire day shooting these two, but the cupcakes were starting to melt, and I think we were a little bit too.

I will never forget this day, and I thank you Sharon & Adam for being such amazing models and people!
